These has to be to me, the best story ever. That I've ever known was a story, in literature and heavily known to be, before the movie. This movie made me cry my heart touch by the feelings. ShawShank Redemption is my Best movie drama ever... i love Andy Character so innocent and Angelic.

I think, without a shadow of a doubt that this is the greatest movie scene of all time. class. 32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Moral of the story: Don't mess with somebody who saves somebody else on taxes. All languages available. They're singing about how to expose her husband's infidelity.

If just a little bit of John Coffeys gift includes a longer lifespan, imagine how old John Coffey was himself. He says “Im tired of never having a buddy to be with”, because hes always outlived all of his friends. “Whered you get all those scars?” - I think its a reference to slavery. Its 1934 when the events take place, so JCs a minimum of 90 years old when he meets Paul. Could be even older.

2:17 fantastic cinematography righ there. It looks like a painting. I love the movie. For a briefest of moments, every last man at Shawshank felt free. Greatest movie ever made. 43 Salieri supporters watched this video... My fav. Movie. I tell my 12 year old set on ratings that they dont matter. All the big hits in my time dont have the stars they deserve. This is one that lingers. You cant touch that. Its about something more than just us. Morgan freeman. Hes my fav actor and this def is one of my favs. Up there with patrucks movies. My day was great.
